FOOD & HOTEL ASIA

Day 2 of Food&HotelAsia as part of the trade mission to the region.
Great to catch up with so many of our current customers and also introduce the famous Silver Hill Duck to a lot of new customers.
Very proud to share the Bord Bia – Irish Food Board Ireland stand with a host of other great quality Irish food and drink brands who’s products are in demand around Asia.

VISIT TO SINGAPORE

As part of our visit to Singapore for Food&HotelAsia this week, we were delighted to mark the milestone of one of our esteemed customers TungLok Group who have now sold 500,000 Silver Hill Ducks in all of their restaurants.
Minister Charlie McConalogue , Bord Bia – Irish Food Board CEO Michael Murphy and our MD Micheál Briody presented founder Andrew Tjioe with a plaque to mark the achievement and also acknowledge his contribution to other Irish Food and Drink in the market.

LAUNCH IN UAE

Our Head of Sales Barry Cullen and Sales & Marketing Manager Greg Devlin are in Dubai to officially launch our partnership with Fresh Express LLC in the UAE.
Supported by Bord Bia – Irish Food Board 30 of the best Head Chefs across Dubai and Abu Dhabi sampled the Silver Hill Duck for the first time. It was great to meet each of them and the Fresh Express team to share our world renowned product and story.
We look forward to developing close relationships and the Silver Hill brand in this exciting new market. A big thank you to the Bord Bia Middle East Team for all the support.

FHA 2022

Silver Hill Duck will be at #FHA2022
Asia’s largest international food and beverage show takes place in Singapore on September 5th.
We will be with Bord Bia – Irish Food Board and some other amazing Irish companies on the Irish Pavilion.
Looking forward to catching up with our current customers in the region and showcasing the best duck in the world to a lot of new customers!

FAMILY FUN DAY 60TH ANNIVERSARY

As part of Silver Hill Duck’s 60th Anniversary Celebrations, we hosted a fun filled family day for all our staff and their families.
Food Trucks, Inflatables, Balloon Modelling, Face Painting, Music and of course the annual Departmental Relay Race were all enjoyed in the gorgeous weather!

GUEST CHEFS FROM THE MIDDLE EAST TO SILVER HILL DUCK

We were delighted to welcome a world renowned team of guest chefs from the Middle East to Silver Hill Duck this week.
Thank you Chef Wed Saleh, Chef Anas Alsulayyim, Chef Saradhi Dakara and Chef Praba Manickam for joining us for a tour of our operations and most importantly for tasting the best duck in the world. And a big thank you to Bord Bia for facilitating the trip.
We look forward to working with you in your restaurants in Dubai and Saudi Arabia in the near future and hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Ireland.

CLOCK UP YOUR K

As part of the Fane Valley Group Daffodil & Daisy Charity Fund, Silver Hill Duck recently held a ‘Clock Up Your K’ event. 🌼
48 members of staff walked or ran before work, during lunch or after work and clocked up an impressive 290km!🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️
Silver Hill donated €5 per km which amounted to an amazing €1,450.🙌🏼
Well done to everyone who participated and we are already looking forward to our next event!⛰
