Job Title: Grading Hall Supervisor

Reporting to: Production Manager

Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent

Location: Emyvale, Co. Monaghan

Key Accountabilities:

  • To ensure all personnel are wearing the correct PPE in the area.
  • Ongoing checks on product quality during production, completion of all quality documentation as required.
  • Ensure operators are following all hygiene rules and guidelines.
  • Liaise with the Quality Manager regarding the quality of the birds and reject level.
  • Ensure all machine guards are in correct working order and in place on relevant machines.
  • Calibration of Chicksort grading line and setting for daily packing requirements.
  • Ensuring all product is packed to supplier specifications.
  • Ensuring any required maintenance is planned and completed.
  • Reporting of non-conformances or safety concerns to the relevant personnel.
  • Work on our quality, maintenance, training, and health & safety systems to ensure timely close outs of issues.
  • Management of a diverse multi-cultural team.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in similar production role desirable.
  • Computer skills.
  • Experience managing people essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to prioritise and work at pace to complete tasks effectively.

Environmental Operative

Job Title: Environmental Operative

Reporting to: Environmental Manager

Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent

Location: Emyvale, Co. Monaghan

Key Accountabilities:

  • The primary responsibility is to maintain the Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) in good working order.
  • Working as part of the environmental team to coordinate and implement the Company’s environmental strategy.
  • Daily monitoring of WWTP – collection of samples, testing samples, taking action if required based on results of testing.
  • Housekeeping around the site – strimming, mowing and spraying, light maintenance of equipment, changing of nets, organising regular clean out of sumps, changing IBCs, etc.
  • Monthly stock taking and ordering of chemical/test vials as required for the WWTP.
  • Daily recording keeping in compliance with the company’s Environmental Management System – water readings, effluent analysis, energy readings.
  • Helping sub-contractors as required and reviewing their work.
  • Performance of other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Candidate should be a high-energy professional with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Full drivers licence an advantage.
