PEKING DUCK DAY

Peking Duck Day was celebrated around the world this week.
This day recognises the national dish of China and dates back over thousands of years when it was the dish of honour for Emperors at Royal Banquets.
The trademark of a well-done Peking duck is its crispy, flavourful skin and tender succulent meat.
Fun Fact: You don’t have to travel all the way to China to taste the world famous Peking duck.
Silver Hill Duck is used in many countries for the Peking style because of its world renowned quality.
In Singapore for example, every time a Silver Hill Duck is ordered in restaurants, a loud gong sound is made across the restaurant in celebration!
